Heather Barnett: The Physarum Experiments Study No 022: Starvation Fireworks

I am also inspired from the lecture by Heather Barnett, which presented her slime mould cell project. The movements of this intelligent organism had amazed me in the time-lapse film. The organism is a nomadic information system. As it creeps across its terrain it makes continuous micro-decisions about surrounding atmospheric conditions and resource distribution. It gave me a vision how tiny creatures in nature move which I couldn’t see with naked eyes.

This is a good media to express the whole growing process and movements.
